The CraneRussak publishers produced the two journals Conflict and Terrorism,which were combined in 1992 as a new publication, Studies in Conflictand Terrorism, whose first volume (vol. 15, 1992) continued tofollow the numbering of issues used in its predecessor Terrorism. TheFrank Cass publishers produce the journals Terrorism and PoliticalViolence, Small Wars and Insurgencies, Low Intensity Conflict & LawEnforcement, Nationalism and Ethnic Politics, and European Security,while other specialty journals include the Journal of Conflict Studies(formerly Conflict Quarterly) published by the Centre for ConflictStudies of the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton, as well as theInternational Journal of Intelligence and Counterintelligence by IntelPublications Group of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. The Department ofthe Army publishes Military Review, which often addresses issues ofterrorism and low-intensity conflict. Issues of homeland security arenow addressed by the specialty publications the Journal of HomelandSecurity, of the federally funded Homeland Security Institute, and theJournal of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, both availableelectronically but the latter only by subscription. In addition, thereis Counterterrorism: Journal of Counterterrorism & Homeland SecurityInternational of the International Association of Counterterrorismand Security Professionals, a professional group of private- and publicsectorcounterterrorism practitioners.Occasional papers on various terrorist topics can be found in variousissues of the Adelphi Papers of the International Institute for StrategicStudies, the Washington Papers of the Center for Strategic and InternationalStudies, and publications of the RAND Corporation. Certainstandard periodical indexes, such as the Public Affairs InformationService and the ABC POLI SCI: Bibliography of Contents, PoliticalScience and Government, will generally list most titles of occasionalarticles dealing with terrorism in leading political science and administrativejournals.For experts interested in the state of the discipline of terrorism research,three studies have recently been published: Sundri K.
