MOVQ Move Quadword<br />

Moves a <strong>64</strong>-bit value in one of the following ways:<br />

� from the low-order <strong>64</strong> bits of an XMM register or a <strong>64</strong>-bit memory location to the<br />

low-order <strong>64</strong> bits of another XMM register, with zero-extension to <strong>128</strong> bits<br />

� from the low-order <strong>64</strong> bits of an XMM register to the low-order <strong>64</strong> bits of another<br />

XMM register, with zero-extension to <strong>128</strong> bits or to a <strong>64</strong>-bit memory location<br />

Mnemonic Opcode Description<br />

MOVQ xmm1, xmm2/mem<strong>64</strong> F3 0F 7E /r Moves <strong>64</strong>-bit value from an XMM register or memory location to<br />

an XMM register.<br />

MOVQ xmm1/mem<strong>64</strong>, xmm2 66 0F D6 /r Moves <strong>64</strong>-bit value from an XMM register to an XMM register or<br />

memory location.<br />
