SQRTPD Square Root Packed Double-Precision<br />

Floating-Point<br />

Computes the square root of each of the two packed double-precision floating-point<br />

values in an XMM register or <strong>128</strong>-bit memory location and writes the result in the<br />

corresponding quadword of another XMM register. Taking the square root of +infinity<br />

returns +infinity.<br />

SQRTPD xmm1, xmm2/mem<strong>128</strong> 66 0F 51 /r Computes square roots of packed double-precision floatingpoint<br />

values in an XMM register or <strong>128</strong>-bit memory location and<br />

writes the result in the destination XMM register.<br />
