4. In the Sequencer SL ID group, click adjacent to the Setup Offset Reference field, then<br />

click Patient or Isocenter.<br />

5. In the Tx Images group, click the Enable Image Underlay check box if it is not<br />

checked.<br />

6. Click OK to close the Department Setup dialog box.<br />

Configuring the Digitized Film Import (DFI) Option<br />

Power on the scanner before you power on your <strong>MOSAIQ</strong> workstation. If<br />

you fail to do so, <strong>MOSAIQ</strong> will not detect the scanner.<br />

1. Launch <strong>MOSAIQ</strong> on a workstation connected to a film scanner.<br />

2. Log on with your username and password.<br />

3. Click File | Import/Export | DFI Configuration… to open the DFI Configuration<br />

dialog box.<br />

The General tab appears by default.<br />

4. Click in the Machine field.<br />

5. Click the name of the machine on which the film may have originated.<br />

Click Unspecified if the images were not taken on a machine defined in<br />

your system.<br />

6. Type the source-to-axis distance in centimeters for the selected machine in the SAD field.<br />

7. Type the source-to-film distance in centimeters for the selected machine in the SFD field.<br />

8. Click in the Pixel Size Type field, then click SFD, which is typically for simulator or<br />

other films, or Actual if you wish to specify the actual pixel size on the film as the type<br />

of pixel size.<br />

9. Click in the Image Type field, then click the type of images acquired at the selected<br />

machine.<br />

10. Click the Review Required check box if images acquired on the selected machine<br />

should be reviewed by the physician.<br />

11. Click Setup to save the Film Information Settings you have configured for the selected<br />

machine.<br />

Click Reset to use the system default values as the Film Information<br />

Settings for the selected machine.<br />
