needed by radiation treatment providers using the <strong>MOSAIQ</strong> <strong>Oncology</strong> Information System.<br />

Indications for Use<br />

<strong>MOSAIQ</strong> <strong>Oncology</strong> PACS provides a database that is capable of storing, managing, and<br />

archiving substantial volumes of radiation oncology related treatment images and image<br />

data. Via Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) compliant image<br />

communication technology, radiation oncology treatment personnel can use <strong>MOSAIQ</strong><br />

<strong>Oncology</strong> PACS to provide storage for and ensure timely retrieval of image and image data<br />

to and from the <strong>MOSAIQ</strong> <strong>Oncology</strong> Information System. <strong>MOSAIQ</strong> <strong>Oncology</strong> PACS can be<br />

used for image data management and archival wherever digital medical images and<br />

associated image data are used for radiation planning or treatment.<br />
