Setting Up Auto-forwarding for a DICOM Device<br />

1. Open DCM.<br />

For more information, refer to the procedure—Logging on<br />

to the System Preferences —on page 223.<br />

2. Click the Auto Forward tab to open it.<br />

3. At the right side of the Device Name: field, click the Add/Delete button to open the<br />

Add/Delete DICOM Device dialog box.<br />

4. In the Add/Delete text box, type the device name.<br />

As you type in the text box, <strong>MOSAIQ</strong> makes the Add button available.<br />

5. Click the Add button to put the device name into the Device Name field.<br />

The Device Name field shows the device name.<br />

6. In the Destination AE group, click , adjacent to the Device Name field, then select the<br />

device name.<br />

For example, you can select <strong>MOSAIQ</strong> <strong>Oncology</strong> PACS or an external treatment planning<br />

system.<br />

7. Above the Destination AE group, click the Enable Auto Forward check box to start the<br />

auto-forwarding setup for the selected device name.<br />

The device name is set, but the DICOM device is not (yet) fully set up for autoforwarding.<br />

The AE Title, Host Name, and Port Number fields are available. The Auto Forward<br />

IODs dialog box is available at this time.<br />
