6. Click the In-Patient check box to change inpatient or outpatient status for this treatment<br />

session from the inpatient/outpatient status defined in Patient Demographic Data.<br />

7. Type your notes in the Note group.<br />

8. Click Record to complete recording of the site setup.<br />

Patient Verification<br />

You can use Right Patient, Right Site, Right Technique in Site Setup Verification. When you<br />

verify the patient, you can use a patient barcode or enter one or more electronic signatures.<br />

You can configure how many and which signatures are necessary from the Department<br />

Setup.<br />

CAUTION<br />

To use Site Setup Verification, you must have Clinical | Tx Delivery |<br />

Modify or Approve rights.<br />

1. In the Site Setup Verification window, click Patient Verification hyperlink to open the<br />

Manual Patient Verification window.<br />

This window lets you verify the patient setup with staff approvals. The Manual Patient<br />

Verification window shows information about the Patient and the Patient ID Photo to<br />

make sure you treat the correct patient. You can add comments for this treatment session<br />

in the Note group. The Approval group shows the required and optional site setup<br />

approvals, up to a maximum of 3. Optional approvals appear in italics.<br />

2. In the Patient Verification Approval group, the logged in user name appears by default.<br />

Type your password, then click Approve.<br />

Your signature appears in the Approvals group.<br />

3. Click Close to close the Manual Patient Verification window.<br />

The Manual Patient Verification remains open until all required<br />

signatures are entered.<br />
