Removing a Favorite Prescription<br />

Admin Mode<br />

1. To remove a favorite prescription from the master list, an administrator click File |<br />

System Utilities | Care Plan Authoring | Favorite Prescriptions…. The Favorite<br />

Prescriptions Setup window opens.<br />

2. Click the correct prescription from the Master Favorites grid, then click the Delete<br />

button. The Delete Favorite Prescription message opens.<br />

3. Click the YES button to continue with removal, or click the NO button to cancel.<br />

Setting an Entry as Inactive in the Favorites List<br />

Administrators can set an entry as inactive. When an entry is inactivated, it cannot be<br />

activated again.<br />

Admin Mode<br />

1. To inactivate the entry, select an entry from the Master Favorites grid, then click the<br />

Inactive button. The entry is inactivated from the master list, and also from the staff<br />

member(s) using it in their personal My Favorites list.<br />

User Mode<br />

Click Show Active to show the entry’s designated as inactive.<br />

1. Users can also set an entry from their My Favorites list as inactive. To inactivate the<br />

entry, select it from the My Favorites grid, then click the Inactive button. The entry is<br />

removed from the My Favorites grid.<br />

Adding an Order to a Patient<br />

User Mode<br />

1. When entries are in Favorites, click the Add button to quickly add a pharmacy order to<br />

a patient, then click From Favorites. This opens the From Favorites window.<br />

2. Select the applicable favorite entry, then click the Select button. The Details (New<br />

Order) tab opens with all values prefilled.<br />

3. Make necessary changes/additions to the order, then click the Add Favorite button. The<br />

button is disabled after successful saving.<br />

4. Click the OK button to save the new patient order. You must have order creation rights<br />

to add an order from Favorite Prescriptions.<br />

The Start Date must be provided in order to save.<br />
