8. Click , then click Reset to change the annotation settings back to the default settings<br />

in <strong>MOSAIQ</strong>. These are the original settings selected when <strong>MOSAIQ</strong> was installed, not<br />

the settings previously specified in the Annotation Settings dialog box.<br />

9. Click OK to save the default settings, then close the Annotation Settings dialog box.<br />

Adding Comments for Informal Communications<br />

1. Click anywhere in a free area of the Comment field.<br />

2. Type your informal note, such as Blocks should be cut from shapes indicated on<br />

the image.<br />

3. Click OK in the Image window to save the comment.<br />

CAUTION<br />

Changing Relative Object Position<br />

The Comment field is designed for informal notes and is not part<br />

of the clinical record. You cannot lock the notes entered in this<br />

field.<br />

1. In the Image window, click the edge of an object that is inside another object, such as a<br />

circle inside a rectangle.<br />

2. Right-click or press F4, then click Send to Back to send the object to the back.<br />

3. Right-click or press F4, then click Bring to Front to bring the object to the front.<br />

Saving Annotated Images<br />

When you have finished annotating the image in the Image window, click OK.<br />

CAUTION<br />

If you click Cancel or in the title bar of the Image window, your<br />

changes in the Image window are not saved.<br />

Working with Multiple Annotations at a Time<br />

1. Right-click or press F4, then click Select All Annotations.<br />

2. Click one of the objects and continue to press the mouse button, then drag the objects to<br />

the location you wish in the image viewer.<br />

3. Click to open the Annotation Settings dialog box.<br />

4. Change the color, pattern, font, and text style as you wish, then click OK to apply the<br />

new settings to all of the selected objects.<br />

5. Click anywhere in the image viewer to de-select the objects.<br />
