Select so radiation treatment sessions must be approved before<br />

<strong>MOSAIQ</strong> permits treatment.<br />

<strong>MOSAIQ</strong> interprets all treatments delivered within three hours of<br />

the first treatment in any given session as part of the same<br />

session. Also, if a portal image has no associated treatment field,<br />

<strong>MOSAIQ</strong> makes a chart entry, but the session number is not<br />

incremented.<br />

Select so radiation treatment plans must be approved before<br />

<strong>MOSAIQ</strong> permits treatment.<br />

Select so radiation treatment calibration must be approved before<br />

<strong>MOSAIQ</strong> permits treatment This is specific to Particle Delivery<br />

Select to activate an alert that appears before <strong>MOSAIQ</strong> opens a<br />

treatment field or delivers a treatment if the portal image was not<br />

reviewed or if a physician rejected the portal image. This only applies<br />

if your department has Image Management registered.<br />

Select to show dose check warnings. These warnings appear<br />

whenever you select a field for treatment that will not contribute dose<br />

to the prescription site or it is not associated with a prescription site.<br />

The warning messages are as follows:<br />

Treatment field dose is zero. Do you want to treat the field<br />

with no dose defined?<br />

Treatment field is not associated with prescription site.<br />

Continue?<br />

A dose site coefficient has either not been defined or set up<br />

so that the treatment of this field will not contribute any<br />

dose to the prescription site. Continue?<br />
