INSTALLATION<br />

1. Remove cable from battery terminal.<br />

2. Remove horn pad, steering wheel<br />

and shell cover.<br />

Refer to Section ST (Page ST-3)<br />

for Removal.<br />

3. Remove screws securing instrument<br />

garnish to instrument, and<br />

detach garnish.<br />

4. Remove screws securing <strong>up</strong>per<br />

instrument to cowl top panel.<br />

5. Remove screws securing instrument<br />

finisher to instrument, and<br />

detach finisher.<br />

6. Remove floor console.<br />

7. Remove screws securing air control<br />

finisher to instrument.<br />

8. Remove screws securing instrument<br />

to the <strong>up</strong>per side of floor tunnel.<br />

9. Remove screws securing side ventilator<br />

control bracket in place.<br />

10. Remove screws from each side<br />

of lower instrument.<br />

11. Disconnect instrument harnesses<br />

at:<br />

Junction block<br />

Combination switch<br />

Ignition switch<br />

Stop lamp switch<br />

Flasher units (for turn signal and<br />

hazard)<br />

(6) Door switch<br />

12. Disconnect cable from speedometer.<br />

13. Install instrument panel in the<br />

reverse order of removal.<br />
