Body Electrical System<br />

LAMP BODY REPLACEMENT<br />

1. Remove two screws .retaining<br />

lamp body to rear finisher and take<br />

out lamp body.<br />

2. Disconnect pair of lead wires at<br />

connectors.<br />

3. Install new lamp body in the<br />

reverse sequence of removal.<br />

MAP LAMP<br />

BULB REPLACEMENT<br />

1. Remove four screws retaining<br />

instrument finisher to instrument<br />

panel.<br />

2. Pulling instrument finisher out a<br />

little, disconnect lead wires at three<br />

connectors. Instrument finisher can<br />

then be removed from instrument<br />

panel.<br />

Note: Three connectors are for map<br />

lamp, floor temperature warning<br />

lamp (California models) and catalyzer<br />

warning lamp (California<br />

models).<br />

3. Twist socket behind map lamp<br />

and remove socket with bulb.<br />

4. Extract bulb from socket.<br />

5. Installation is in the reverse sequence<br />

of removal.<br />
