6. Pulling speedometer out from<br />

instrument harness, disconnect a connector<br />

for instrument harness.<br />

Speedometer can then be taken<br />

out.<br />

Body Electrical System<br />

TEMP-OIL,<br />

AMP-FUEL GAUGE<br />

These gauges are attached to instrument<br />

panel with spring bracket. The<br />

spring bracket is retained by a screw.<br />

Consequently, each gauge can be easily<br />

taken out by removing retaining screw.<br />

2. Remove two screws retaining<br />

three-way venti-duct to instrument<br />

panel and four screw for bracket.<br />

Bulb replacement<br />

Disconnecting connector<br />

Pull out socket, with bulb, from<br />

back of speedometer and extract bulb<br />

from socket.<br />

Install new bulb in reverse sequence<br />

of removal.<br />

Bulb wattage:<br />

Main beam indicator .... 3.4W<br />

Brake warning lamp 3.4W<br />

Removal and installation<br />

1. Remove four screws retaining instrument<br />

finisher to instrument panel.<br />

Pulling instrument finisher out a little<br />

disconnect two connectors.<br />

Instrument finisher can then be<br />

taken out.<br />

3. Disconnect duct hoses from<br />

three-way duct and take out three-way<br />

duct.<br />

4. Remove screw retaining each<br />

gauge to instrument panel.<br />
