1. Remove heater unit referring to<br />

previous section.<br />

2. Loosen hose clamp on heater<br />

cock side.<br />

3. Remove screws retaining heater<br />

cock and then remove heater cock.<br />

4. Loosen hose clamp on heater core<br />

side and disconnect hose.<br />

5. Remove E-ring from floor door<br />

operating rod. See Figure BE-92.<br />

6. Remove five screws and detach<br />

side cover. Pull out heater core.<br />

Note: Be sure to detach heater core<br />

with floor door opened.<br />

Fan unit<br />

Failure to do so may scratch heater<br />

core.<br />

7. Assembly is in the reverse sequence<br />

of removal.<br />
