FICD does not operate.
Disconnect hose of fast i
vacuum tester.

Light ON
Check hose connection and
when it is found normal, replace
actuator.

actuator, and connect
Light OFF
Connect vacuum tester to hose
on the inlet side of FICD
magnet valve.
Light OFF
Disconnect inlet hose o
valve (vacuum source),
nect to vacuum tester.

Light ON
Check with 12-volt test
light whether electric
current flows to magnet
valve.
When it is found normal,
replace magnet valve.

Light ON
Connect 12-volt test light to
terminal of blue wire leading to
FICD magnet valve. Ground the
other end of test light.
Light ON

Check hose for twist, dent and
leak, and when it is found normal,
replace magnet valve.

Light OFF
Inspect circuit of magnet
valve.
Refer to "Compressor Clutch
Diagnoses".
Check hose for twist, dent
and leak.
Check tank for leak and
connector's connection.
Repair or replace parts
as required.
Light ON
Check hose, and when it
is found normal, replace
check valve.
