Body Electrical System<br />

Warning buzzer<br />

Apply 12V direct current between<br />

©-(§) or (2)-(f) and check whether<br />

buzzer sounds or not. The buzzer must<br />

sound when ©-(f) and (2)-(3) are<br />

connected to power circuit. See Figure<br />

BE-141 warning buzzer.<br />

Note: Make sure that © negative<br />

terminal of power circuit is always<br />

connected to (3) terminal.<br />

INSPECTION<br />

Door switch<br />

There are three lead wires from<br />

door switch. Two are for warning<br />

buzzer and other is for room lamp.<br />

Inspect continuity through door<br />

switch with test lamp or ohmmeter.<br />

When plunger is pressed into switch<br />

assembly, door switch contacts are<br />

opened. Contacts are closed when<br />

plunger is projected. See Figure<br />

BE-138 door switch.<br />

Ignition switch<br />

Test continuity between two harnesses<br />

©-© indicated in Figure<br />

BE-139. There must be continuity<br />

when key is inserted into switch. On<br />

the other hand, continuity must be<br />

broken, when key is removed from<br />

ignition switch.<br />

Circuit<br />

Test continuity through the circuit<br />

with ohmmeter or test lamp. The<br />

whole circuit is described below in<br />

detail.<br />
