Body Electrical System<br />

VOLTAGE REGULATOR<br />

(Engine revolution sensor)<br />

The voltage regulator is located on<br />

the relay bracket in the engine compartment.<br />

5. Installation is in the reverse sequence<br />

of removal.<br />

Apply 12V direct current between<br />

© - (D or (2) — (§) and check whether<br />

the buzzer makes noise. The buzzer<br />

must make noise whenever terminals<br />

are connected to power circuit.<br />

Note: When connecting power circuit<br />

to buzzer make sure that (-) negative<br />

terminal is always connected to<br />

(3) terminal.<br />

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.<br />

2. Remove four screws attaching<br />

relay bracket to body panel, and remove<br />

relay bracket.<br />

3. Remove two screws retaining<br />

voltage regulator assembly to the relay<br />

bracket. Voltage regulator can then be<br />

taken out.<br />

4. Disconnect lead wires from voltage<br />

regulator at a connector.<br />

Bulb replacement<br />

1. Remove console box, referring to<br />

Section BF.<br />

2. Push socket with bulb behind<br />

warning lamp body and twist it<br />

counterclockwise. Socket with bulb<br />

can then be taken out.<br />

3. Remove bulb from socket.<br />

4. Install new bulb. Installation is in<br />

the reverse sequence of removal.<br />

Bulb wattage:<br />

Seat belt warning lamp ... 1.4W<br />

LAMP BODY REPLACEMENT<br />

1. Remove console box referring to<br />

Section BF.<br />

2. Remove lamp body.<br />

3. Installation is in the reverse sequence<br />

of removal.<br />
