Air comes out of heater outlets.
Air does not come out of
heater outlets.
Hot air comes out, but inside air
is not heated.
Air intake door is in open position.
Air intake door actuator operates.
Remove hose from air intake door
actuator
Not normalized yet
Check air intake door for
condition of return spring.
When spring is in order
replace actuator.
x
3
Set air lever in another
position and check vacuum
hose for proper piping.
Replace vacuum selector
valve when hose piping is
correct.
Hot air does not come out.
Water cock does not operate.
Control wire
is disconnected.
Light ON
Check hose connection,
and when it is found
normal, replace vacuum
cock.
Control wire is
all right.
Connect vacuum
tester to
hose of vacuum
cock.
Light OFF
Disconnect hose "S" from vacuum
selector valve and connect to vacuum
tester.
Heater door is closed.
Almost all air comes
out of defroster
nozzles.
Check control wire
and, as necessary,
replace heater door
Air does not come out
at all.
I
Light ON
Check hose connection,
and when it is
found normal, replace
mode door
actuator.
Mode door does not
operate. Air comes
out of air conditioner
outlets.
zc
Connect vacuum
tester to hoses of
"D," and"D2" of
mode door actuator.
Light OFF
Air comes out a little.
Blower does not run.
Refer to "Blower
Motor Diagnoses"
Air is coming out of
air conditioner outlets.
Connect vacuum
tester to hose of mode
door actuator.
Light ON
Light OFF
Check vacuum hose for twist, dent
and leak. When it is found normal,
replace selector.
Disconnect inlet hose of magnet valve
(vacuum source), and connect to
vacuum tester.
Light ON
I
Check with 12-volt
test light whether
electric current
flows to magnet
valve. When it is
found normal, replace
magnet
valve.
Light OFF
Connect vacuum
tester to hose on
the inlet of
vacuum tank.
Check hose connection,
and when it is
found normal, replace
mode door
actuator.
for leak and connector's
connection.
Repair or
replace parts as
required.
Light OFF
Connect vacuum
tester to hose on
