1. Air intake door. .. Vacuum is<br />

introduced to the actuator of the air<br />

intake door and causes an actuator<br />

movement to open the door.<br />

Thus it admits outside air into the<br />

air conditioner unit.<br />

2. Mode door. .. The mode door is<br />

in the closed position. Outside air is<br />

directed to the outlets located on the<br />

instrument panel.<br />

3. Heater door ... The heater door<br />

is in the open position.<br />

4. Vacuum cock ... The vacuum<br />

cock is in the closed position, shutting<br />

AC-8<br />

off the hot water at the cock.<br />

5. Fast idle actuator.. . The vacuum<br />

flowing into the fast idle actuator<br />

is interr<strong>up</strong>ted by the magnet valve.<br />

The actuator then stops its operation<br />

and the operating lever returns to its<br />

original position.
