Engine Fuel<br />

AIR CLEANER<br />

The air cleaner, located between<br />

the front grille and the radiator, is<br />

secured to the radiator core s<strong>up</strong>port<br />

with four screws.<br />

The air cleaner element is a viscous<br />

paper type and requires no cleaning.<br />

Note: Never attempt to clean the element<br />

with a brush or air blast.<br />

REPLACEMENT<br />

1. Remove three wing nuts.<br />

2. Remove cover from air cleaner.<br />

3. Replace air cleaner element.<br />

4. To install the air cleaner element,<br />

reverse the order of removal.<br />

REMOVAL AND<br />

INSTALLATION<br />

1. Unfasten clamps securing air dust<br />

running between air flow meter and air<br />

cleaner, and disengage air duct at air<br />

cleaner.<br />

2. Remove four screws (two on the<br />

<strong>up</strong>per and two on the lower sides)<br />

from radiator core s<strong>up</strong>port, and detach<br />

air cleaner assembly.<br />

3. To install the air cleaner assembly,<br />

reverse the order of removal.<br />
