Main producers/packersThe Italian egg sector is vertically integrated with companies owning feed compounding, breeding,rearing, production, packing and processing facilities. This degree of integration facilitates fulltraceability through each stage of production. The largest firm is Eurovo accounting for almost aquarter of all eggs packed. Eurovo is followed by two firms with just under 10% market share, Aiaand Azienda Agricola Parmovo. Eurovo is profiled in Box A1.21 and Aia in Box A1.22.221
