Production costsInformation on the cost of production was provided by the National Poultry Union. It isrepresentative of the larger, more highly mechanised operations. Since these units are verticallyintegrated, costs of packaging and marketing are included. The costs appearing in Table A2.30 havebeen converted to US cents per dozen from pesos per kilogram.
