Refraining from Marriage<br />

Marriage is an obligation for he who fears falling into immorality<br />

and where there is no such danger it is a firm (mu' akkada) Sunnah <strong>by</strong><br />

most scholars.<br />

In the view of Abii Hanifah and AQ.mad lbn l:lanbal, marriage is<br />

superior that all voluntary acts, since it is the means for the procreation<br />

of children.<br />

He () said: "Marry a woman who is fertile and pleasant, for I will<br />

take pride in your large numbers on Judgment Day."225<br />
