1 District is committed to serving the project a base
2 allotment of 45 acre feet per year at the commercial
3 block-one rate. And you remember the 45 acre feet per
4 year number is down from 117 acre feet which was
5 originally proposed.
6 All water used by the project above 45 acre
7 feet per year will be billed at the block-two rate.
8 Quoting from the letter, "The district would serve
9 project demand above 45 acre feet per year to the extent
10 and consistent with the district's ability to serve all
11 other customers at the higher block water rate."
12 Caruso Affiliated also did their own
13 calculations for the projected water use of the project,
14 and their calculations came out to be 51.3.
15 The FAR calculations have been revised in
16 response to Commission concerns that the previous
17 methodolgy was incorrect. You now see elimination of
18 the internal corridors amongst other significant
19 changes. Staff verified that the revised calculations
20 are consistent with the Article II definitions and
21 intended methodolgy.
22 In response to the need to remove floor area,
23 the Applicant revised the spa building to shrink the
24 square footage and now be one story in height. Also the
