8 MR. MOSBY: Well, you know, we -- our level
9 of effort in the function of the assistance the
10 Applicant may need or a homeowner may need -- typically
11 you would expect a lot of the homework to be done up
12 front.
13 And in essence, we got some numbers
14 initially, we looked at them further on, and then we
15 actually assisted the Applicant in understanding that
16 that probably will not be the water needs. That is not
17 the water needs. And so we took the extra level of
18 effort to go ahead and work with them and show what it
19 looks like. We do this with all our customers.
20 MR. OVERALL: Do you have any idea where the
21 170 acre feet came from?
22 MR. MOSBY: I don't know the origin of that
23 number, and I still don't know the origin. But again,
24 the water district will do what it's responsibly meant
25 to do, and that is look at the project and come up with
