13 creating and property tax payroll and transient
14 occupancy tax generating apparatus for our treasury.
15 This is so important. I believe an EIR --
16 and I've been involved developing economics. "E"
17 doesn't just stand "environment." It stands for so many
18 good things. It stands for "eating" too; right? But it
19 stands also for "economics."
20 The EIR should include economic impact, and
21 economic impact can only be productive, and if we wait
22 another three or four or five years, this city is going
23 to lose millions of dollars in revenue. And whose fault
24 would it be? Those people are trying to handicap this
25 man from completing a job he has every right to do.
