1 this is important for a couple of reasons. One is it
2 fits into the issue of access and ability for people to
3 get along the beach related to beach events, but more
4 importantly, it's part of the open space that's being
5 utilized for part of the project. So it's important we
6 get it right.
7 And the trouble I'm having is, if it's
8 significantly smaller, that area's not there. And I
9 just want to make sure we're not using area that doesn't
10 really exist, and I can't find it. I've spent a lot of
11 time on that beach, and it's -- 106 feet is
12 approximately the area that's needed of beach, and I've
13 rarely seen that.
14 MR. MITTERMILLER: Again, it's a calculated
15 position, and the position varies depending on, like I
16 say, the season. In the wintertime, when it was
17 calculated, it's probably more landward than it is in
18 the summertime where it may shift out. The access
19 you're talking about has also been addressed by an
20 easement. So I don't think access is going to be cut
21 off.
