2 terms of number of keys, 207 rooms at the Biltmore, 204
3 rooms proposed for the Miramar. They have a similar
4 assemblage of uses and size of the site is relatively
5 similar. The Biltmore/Coral Casino property is about
6 19 acres. The Miramar is about 16 acres.
7 However, Biltmore is more intense in terms of
8 number of employees onsite. At any one time the
9 Biltmore could have between 250 to 270 employees onsite
10 where the Miramar is proposing 100.
11 The Biltmore also has more restaurant seats
12 including the Coral Casino property. Total the Biltmore
13 and Coral Casino have 488 seats. The Miramar proposes
14 258. Conference and banquet space at the Biltmore is
15 larger, and the Coral Casino also has a larger beach
16 club, 600 members compared to the Miramar's proposed 300
17 members.
18 So the Commission was also interested in
19 further understanding the proposed parking for the
20 Miramar Project and staff also dove into some of the
21 details in the Biltmore. The Miramar Project continues
