Aysen Berberoglu received her Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Business Administration degree from Cyprus International
University in 2007 and earned an MBA degree in <strong>the</strong> same institution in 2009. Currently she is working in <strong>the</strong>
Cyprus International University as a research assistant and she is a PhD student as well.
Deborah Branswijck is a Phd student at Ghent University. Her main research fields are in accounting,
namely international accounting standards and corporate disclosure. In addition to her research assignments
she also gives a course on International Accounting Standards and Corporate Accounting at Ghent
University College.
Constantin Bratianu is a pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>of</strong> Strategic Management and Knowledge Management at <strong>the</strong> Academy
<strong>of</strong> Economic Studies <strong>of</strong> Bucharest, Romania. He is currently <strong>the</strong> Head <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> UNESCO Department for
Business Administration, and Director <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Research Centre for Intellectual Capital, within <strong>the</strong> same
university. His research interests are in <strong>the</strong> fields <strong>of</strong> strategic management, knowledge management,
intellectual capital and university management.
Sheryl Buckley is Deputy Head <strong>of</strong> Department in <strong>the</strong> Department <strong>of</strong> Business Information Technology (BIT)
at <strong>the</strong> University <strong>of</strong> Johannesburg (UJ). Her passion lies in <strong>the</strong> Information Science discipline. She is a
committee member <strong>of</strong> a number <strong>of</strong> international organisations as well as an active peer reviewer. She has
presented and published papers locally and internationally.
Anna Bykova is researcher <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Laboratory <strong>of</strong> Investment Analysis at <strong>the</strong> State University Higher School
<strong>of</strong> Economics (Russia, Perm) and also PhD student in Economy and Management at this <strong>of</strong> university. Her
current research field is focused on intellectual capital, collaborative networks, relationship between firm
competitiveness and innovation clusters.
Donley Carrington is a lecturer in Accounting at <strong>the</strong> University <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> West Indies (UWI) Cave Hill Barbados
Campus. He has been researching and teaching in <strong>the</strong> fields <strong>of</strong> accounting, intellectual capital and
performance measurement. He read for this PhD at <strong>the</strong> University <strong>of</strong> Hull in <strong>the</strong> UK where his doctoral <strong>the</strong>sis
examined intellectual capital in <strong>the</strong> hospitality industry in <strong>the</strong> Caribbean.
Nicoleta Ciucescu is a doctorate student in Management is working as a assistant, in <strong>the</strong> “Vasile
Alecsandri” University <strong>of</strong> Bacau, Faculty <strong>of</strong> Economics. His areas <strong>of</strong> interest in teaching and res3earch are:
management, organizational culture, projects and business plans, small and medium enterprises
management, tourism marketing.
Mihaela Alina Dima is associate pr<strong>of</strong>essor at <strong>the</strong> Bucharest Academy <strong>of</strong> Economic Studies, School <strong>of</strong>
Business Administration. She has held a PhD. in Economics since 2007. Her specialization is International
Business and Economics. Her main fields <strong>of</strong> interest include International Business, Competition Policy,
<strong>European</strong> integration and Higher Education. She has presented various papers at international conferences
in Europe and USA.
John Dumay,MBA AGSM,MA MGSM,PhD (Economics) Sydney is currently a Lecturer in Accounting at
Sydney University after spending 15 years as an independent consultant specialising in management
Accounting. His PhD won <strong>the</strong> prestigious Emerald/EFMD Outstanding Doctoral Research Award 2008 in
Knowledge Management category. His research/consulting focuses on <strong>the</strong> use <strong>of</strong> narrative as a
management tool for organisations. He has presented at numerous international conferences and published
in international academic journals.
Marziye Ehrami is an expert in human resource management and works in IIES in Iran. Marziye has a MA in
public administration and 4 years experience in research about human recourse management. Marziye is
also a member <strong>of</strong> research team <strong>of</strong> strategic studies <strong>of</strong> human resource in <strong>the</strong> oil industry.
Magdi El-Bannany is an Assistant Pr<strong>of</strong>essor at University <strong>of</strong> Sharjah in UAE and Ain Shams University in
Egypt. He is Research Fellow at Liverpool Business School, LJMU. He is a Pr<strong>of</strong>essional Accountant and
Auditor in UK and Egypt. His teaching and research interests include Auditing, Financial Accounting,
Intellectual Capital, Social Responsibility, Bank Pr<strong>of</strong>itability and Governmental Accounting.
