4. Conclusions

In Iran, like many o<strong>the</strong>r countries, women take part in various social and political scenes toge<strong>the</strong>r with
men, although <strong>the</strong>ir participation is limited to low-level jobs. However, <strong>the</strong> tendency to attain
knowledge in <strong>the</strong> fields like IT, business and entrepreneurship has recently been increased among
women.
There is no doubt that more presence <strong>of</strong> women in such areas leads to more improvement and
development in <strong>the</strong> society. In order to promote employment conditions <strong>of</strong> women in science-related
fields, <strong>the</strong> following points are recommended:
1. Identification <strong>of</strong> knowledge oriented jobs and utilization <strong>of</strong> educated women in <strong>the</strong>se jobs
2. Participation <strong>of</strong> women in training courses to improve <strong>the</strong>ir knowledge and experience
3. Emphasis on decent democracy and struggle against sexism
4. Promotion <strong>of</strong> decent women to higher managerial positions
5. Support <strong>of</strong> women's rights protection organizations as well as NGOs formed to solve women's
problems
