including – leadership, values and ethics; <strong>the</strong> knowledge-based economy and evaluating executive coaching
as an executive learning tool. She is an internationally published author and a regular contributor to The
Advertiser newspaper on business strategy. She is a Deputy Chair and Executive member <strong>of</strong> a number <strong>of</strong>
organisations, and also holds a Master’s Degree in Policy and Administration; and degrees in law and social
science. She frequently facilitates World Knowledge Cafes internationally, nationally and locally.

Nargiza Abdullaeva is a Senior Lecturer at <strong>the</strong> University <strong>of</strong> World Economy and Diplomacy (2004-2010),
MBA, PhD in Economics (2007). She worked as a Deputy Dean at <strong>the</strong> University <strong>of</strong> World Economy and
Diplomacy (2008-2009), and is co-author <strong>of</strong> several scientific projects. She is a member <strong>of</strong> External Advisory
Board on RIFI project.
Adriana Agapie is lecturer <strong>of</strong> Quantitative Methods in Business Research and Decision Making Processes
at <strong>the</strong> Academy <strong>of</strong> Economic Studies <strong>of</strong> Bucharest, UNESCO Department for Business Administration, and a
member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Research Center for Intellectual Capital. Her main research interests are in <strong>the</strong> fields <strong>of</strong>
research methods in business and economics, and ma<strong>the</strong>matical <strong>the</strong>ory <strong>of</strong> decision processes.
Eckhard Ammann is a Pr<strong>of</strong>essor for computer science at <strong>the</strong> Reutlingen University, Germany, since 1992.
Before that, he spent 8 years with <strong>the</strong> IBM company doing research and development in parallel systems
and system structures. His research interests include knowledge management,intellectual capital, business
process modeling, distributed systems, and virtual organisations.
Sorin Anagnoste is a PhD student at <strong>the</strong> Academy <strong>of</strong> Economic Studies Bucharest. Sorin has been working
for <strong>the</strong> last three years for companies like ABN Amro Bank, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and is now working at
Heineken Romania. Before considering doing a PhD on leadership Sorin has been a volunteer for <strong>the</strong> last 6
years in different NGOs.
Gabriela Atanasiu is a Pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>of</strong> Structural Dynamics at <strong>the</strong> Faculty <strong>of</strong> Civil Engineering and Architecture
in <strong>the</strong> Technical University “Gheorghe Asachi” <strong>of</strong> Iasi, Romania since 1995, and PhD Supervisor since 1999.
From 2002 she is serving as <strong>the</strong> Director <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Multidisciplinary Center <strong>of</strong> Structural Engineering and Risk
Management, MCSERM and her main research areas are: modeling and simulations, performance-based
earthquake engineering and efficient project management.
Bob Barrett is a Pr<strong>of</strong>essor in <strong>the</strong> School <strong>of</strong> Business at <strong>the</strong> American Public University in Charles Town,
West Virginia, USA. In addition to teaching, he trains new instructors transitioning from face-to-face (F2F)
teaching to <strong>the</strong> growing field <strong>of</strong> online learning.
Oihana Basilio is a PhD Candidate and teaching assistant <strong>of</strong> External Sector at <strong>the</strong> Department <strong>of</strong>
Economic Structure and Economy <strong>of</strong> Development, at <strong>the</strong> Autonomous University <strong>of</strong> Madrid (UAM). She
holds a Masters in Economics and Management <strong>of</strong> Innovation and a Masters from <strong>the</strong> <strong>European</strong> Inter-
University Association on Society, Science and Technology (ESST).
Ruxandra Bejinaru is a Junior Teaching Assistant for Management specializations within <strong>the</strong> Management
and Business Administration Department at “Stefan cel Mare” University in Suceava County, Romania. She
is currently a second year - PhD Student studying Business Administration, at <strong>the</strong> Academy <strong>of</strong> Economics, in
Bucharest.
Iren Bena is an assistant pr<strong>of</strong>essor at <strong>the</strong> UNESCO Chair for Business Administration. Irina is a graduate <strong>of</strong>
<strong>the</strong> Academy <strong>of</strong> Economic Studies Bucharest and a former scholarship holder <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> German Academic
Exchange Service. Her teaching activities focus on Customer Relationship Management (in English) and
Human Resource Management (in German). Her research work is on Customer Relationship Management
within <strong>the</strong> banking area.
Andrea Bencsik is an associate pr<strong>of</strong>essor at Széchenyi István University in Győr, and she also teaches as a
