8.4 Service Management Systems provide operational interfaces to allow for
provisioning, administration and maintenance of subscriber data and service
application data stored in SCPs.
8.5 BellSouth’s Service Creation Environment (“SCE”) and Service Management
System (“SMS”) Advanced Intelligent Network (“AIN”) Access shall provide TC
SYSTEMS the capability that will allow TC SYSTEMS to create service
applications in a BellSouth Service Creation Environment and deploy those
applications in a BellSouth SMS to a BellSouth SCP. TC SYSTEMS’s service
applications interact with AIN triggers provisioned on a BellSouth SSP. BellSouth
shall provide TC SYSTEMS access to the BellSouth SCE in a manner equal to
what BellSouth provides itself or requesting telecommunications carriers.
8.6 BellSouth’s SCE/SMS AIN Access shall provide access to SCE hardware,
software, testing and technical support (e.g., help desk, system administrator)
resources available to TC SYSTEMS. Scheduling procedures shall provide TC
SYSTEMS equivalent priority to resources. BellSouth shall provide training,
documentation, and technical support that will address use of SCE and SMS
access and administrative functions but will not include support for the creation of
a specific service application.
8.7 BellSouth SCP shall partition and protect TC SYSTEMS service logic and data
from unauthorized access, execution or other types of compromise.
8.8 When TC SYSTEMS selects SCE/SMS AIN Access, BellSouth shall provide
training, documentation, and technical support to enable TC SYSTEMS to use
BellSouth’s SCE/SMS AIN Access to create and administer applications.
8.9 BellSouth shall provide for a secure, controlled access environment in association
with its internal use of AIN components. TC SYSTEMS access will be provided
via remote data connection (e.g., dial-in, ISDN).
8.10 BellSouth shall allow TC SYSTEMS to download data forms and/or tables to
BellSouth SCP via BellSouth SMS without intervention from BellSouth.
8.11 When TC SYSTEMS selects SCE/SMS AIN Access for providing services on TC
SYSTEMS’s network, BellSouth and TC SYSTEMS will work cooperatively to
resolve technical and provisioning issues.
9. 911/E911
9.1 If a municipality has converted to E911 service, TC SYSTEMS will forward 911
calls to the appropriate E911 primary tandem, along with ANI, based upon the
current E911 end office to tandem homing arrangement as provided by BellSouth.
