5.7 <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS shall not use the Remote Collocation Space for marketing purposes<br />

nor shall it place any identifying signs or markings in the area surrounding the Remote<br />

Collocation Space or on the grounds of the Remote Site Location.<br />

5.8 <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS shall place a plaque or other identification affixed to <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS’s<br />

equipment to identify <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS’s equipment, including a list of emergency<br />

contacts with telephone numbers.<br />

5.9 Entrance Facilities. <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS may elect to place <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS-owned or <strong>TC</strong><br />

SYSTEMS-leased fiber entrance facilities into the Remote Collocation Space.<br />

Bell<strong>South</strong> will designate the point of interconnection at the Remote Site Location<br />

housing the Remote Collocation Space, which is physically accessible by both Parties.<br />

<strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS will provide and place copper cable through conduit from the Remote<br />

Collocation Space to the Feeder Distribution Interface to the splice location of<br />

sufficient length for splicing by Bell<strong>South</strong>. <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS must contact Bell<strong>South</strong> for<br />

instructions prior to placing the entrance facility cable. <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS is responsible<br />

for maintenance of the entrance facilities.<br />

5.9.1 Shared Use. <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS may utilize spare capacity on an existing interconnector<br />

entrance facility for the purpose of providing an entrance facility to <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS’s<br />

collocation arrangement within the same Bell<strong>South</strong> Remote Site Location. Bell<strong>South</strong><br />

shall allow splicing to the entrance facility, provided that the fiber is non-working<br />

fiber. <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS must arrange with Bell<strong>South</strong> in accordance with Bell<strong>South</strong>’s<br />

Special Construction Procedures, RL93-11-030BT, and provide a LOA from the other<br />

telecommunications carrier for Bell<strong>South</strong> to splice the <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS provided riser<br />

cable to the spare capacity on the entrance facility. If <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS desires to allow<br />

another telecommunications carrier to use its entrance facilities, then that<br />

telecommunications carrier must arrange with Bell<strong>South</strong> in accordance with<br />

Bell<strong>South</strong>’s Special Construction Procedures, RL93-11-030BT, and provide a LOA<br />

from <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS for Bell<strong>South</strong> to splice that telecommunications carrier’s<br />

provided riser cable to the spare capacity on <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS’s entrance facility.<br />

5.10 Demarcation Point. Bell<strong>South</strong> will designate the point(s) of demarcation between <strong>TC</strong><br />

SYSTEMS’s equipment and/or network and Bell<strong>South</strong>’s network located as close as<br />

reasonably possible to <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS’s Remote Site Collocation Space. Each Party<br />

will be responsible for maintenance and operation of all equipment/facilities on its side<br />

of the demarcation point. <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS or its agent must perform all required<br />

maintenance to <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS equipment/facilities on its side of the demarcation<br />

point, pursuant to Section 5.6, following.<br />

5.11 <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS’s Equipment and Facilities. <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS, or if required by this<br />

Attachment, <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS’s Bell<strong>South</strong> Certified Supplier, is solely responsible for<br />

the design, engineering, installation, testing, provisioning, performance, monitoring,<br />

maintenance and repair of the equipment and facilities used by <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS which<br />

must be performed in compliance with all applicable Bell<strong>South</strong> Specifications. Such<br />
