5.7 TC SYSTEMS shall not use the Remote Collocation Space for marketing purposes
nor shall it place any identifying signs or markings in the area surrounding the Remote
Collocation Space or on the grounds of the Remote Site Location.
5.8 TC SYSTEMS shall place a plaque or other identification affixed to TC SYSTEMS’s
equipment to identify TC SYSTEMS’s equipment, including a list of emergency
contacts with telephone numbers.
5.9 Entrance Facilities. TC SYSTEMS may elect to place TC SYSTEMS-owned or TC
SYSTEMS-leased fiber entrance facilities into the Remote Collocation Space.
BellSouth will designate the point of interconnection at the Remote Site Location
housing the Remote Collocation Space, which is physically accessible by both Parties.
TC SYSTEMS will provide and place copper cable through conduit from the Remote
Collocation Space to the Feeder Distribution Interface to the splice location of
sufficient length for splicing by BellSouth. TC SYSTEMS must contact BellSouth for
instructions prior to placing the entrance facility cable. TC SYSTEMS is responsible
for maintenance of the entrance facilities.
5.9.1 Shared Use. TC SYSTEMS may utilize spare capacity on an existing interconnector
entrance facility for the purpose of providing an entrance facility to TC SYSTEMS’s
collocation arrangement within the same BellSouth Remote Site Location. BellSouth
shall allow splicing to the entrance facility, provided that the fiber is non-working
fiber. TC SYSTEMS must arrange with BellSouth in accordance with BellSouth’s
Special Construction Procedures, RL93-11-030BT, and provide a LOA from the other
telecommunications carrier for BellSouth to splice the TC SYSTEMS provided riser
cable to the spare capacity on the entrance facility. If TC SYSTEMS desires to allow
another telecommunications carrier to use its entrance facilities, then that
telecommunications carrier must arrange with BellSouth in accordance with
BellSouth’s Special Construction Procedures, RL93-11-030BT, and provide a LOA
from TC SYSTEMS for BellSouth to splice that telecommunications carrier’s
provided riser cable to the spare capacity on TC SYSTEMS’s entrance facility.
5.10 Demarcation Point. BellSouth will designate the point(s) of demarcation between TC
SYSTEMS’s equipment and/or network and BellSouth’s network located as close as
reasonably possible to TC SYSTEMS’s Remote Site Collocation Space. Each Party
will be responsible for maintenance and operation of all equipment/facilities on its side
of the demarcation point. TC SYSTEMS or its agent must perform all required
maintenance to TC SYSTEMS equipment/facilities on its side of the demarcation
point, pursuant to Section 5.6, following.
5.11 TC SYSTEMS’s Equipment and Facilities. TC SYSTEMS, or if required by this
Attachment, TC SYSTEMS’s BellSouth Certified Supplier, is solely responsible for
the design, engineering, installation, testing, provisioning, performance, monitoring,
maintenance and repair of the equipment and facilities used by TC SYSTEMS which
must be performed in compliance with all applicable BellSouth Specifications. Such
