4.3 For services provided through resale, Bell<strong>South</strong> agrees to provide <strong>TC</strong><br />

SYSTEMS with scheduled maintenance for residence and small business end<br />

users consistent with the Operational Understanding. Bell<strong>South</strong> agrees to<br />

provide <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS written notification of Central Office conversions and<br />

such conversions consistent with the Operational Understanding.<br />

4.4 Maintenance charges for premises work beyond the NID by Bell<strong>South</strong><br />

technicians, shall be billed by <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS to its end user, and not by<br />

Bell<strong>South</strong>. The Bell<strong>South</strong> technician shall, (i) contact <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS for<br />

authorization, (ii) provide <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS an estimate of time and materials<br />

required, (iii) explain to the end user additional work performed, upon<br />

completion of such requested work, and, (iv) notify <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS if a<br />

subsequent visit is required. Bell<strong>South</strong> will bill maintenance charges for<br />

premises visits to <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS.<br />

4.5 When maintenance charges are incurred during premises visits, the Bell<strong>South</strong><br />

technician shall present the end user with a warranty sheet for the work<br />

performed and the materials used. In the event that an additional appointment<br />

is required, the Bell<strong>South</strong> technician will notify <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS immediately.<br />

4.6 Bell<strong>South</strong> shall use best efforts to provide <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS with prior<br />

notification, in the event that a Bell<strong>South</strong> repair person is unable to keep a<br />

scheduled repair visit. If prior notice is not given and a scheduled repair visit is<br />

missed, <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS may escalate to Bell<strong>South</strong> for expedited repair or a<br />

revised estimated completion time.<br />

5 Billing<br />

5.1 Bell<strong>South</strong> shall provide to <strong>TC</strong> SYSTEMS nondiscriminatory access to billing<br />

OSS in compliance with the provisions in Attachment 7 – Billing.<br />

6 Testing<br />

6.1 Bell<strong>South</strong> shall administer all OSS testing in accordance with published testing<br />

processes as set forth in the CCP document and the CLEC Pre-<br />

Ordering/Ordering Interface Testing Practices and Procedures. Both<br />

documents are accessible at Bell<strong>South</strong>'s interconnection website, and any<br />

changes to those procedures will be administered through the CCP.<br />

6.2 When the Bell<strong>South</strong> testing environment is available, Bell<strong>South</strong> will support<br />

regression testing to assure systems integrity.<br />
