08, that, under the Utilities Commission Act, the<br />

authority requires to provide the service and to<br />

charge, collect and enforce the rates referred to in<br />

subsection (2), or<br />

(b) the service or rates referred to in subsection<br />

(2).<br />

(4) Subsection (3) is repealed on July 1, <strong>2011</strong>.<br />

Designated agreements<br />

33 On the coming into force of this Part, the agreements<br />

designated under section 3 of the Transmission Corporation<br />

Act have no force or effect.<br />

PART 8 — REGULATIONS<br />

Division 1 — Regulations by Lieutenant Governor in Council<br />

General<br />

Regulations<br />

34 (1) The Lieutenant Governor in Council may make regulations<br />

referred to in section 41 of the Interpretation Act.<br />

(2) In making a regulation under this Act, the Lieutenant<br />

Governor in Council may do one or more of the following:<br />

(a) delegate a matter to a person;<br />

(b) confer a discretion on a person;<br />

(c) make different regulations for different persons,<br />

places, things, decisions, transactions or activities.<br />

35 Without limiting section 34 (1), the Lieutenant Governor in<br />

Council may make regulations as follows:
