Born in 1976 in Bratislava, Slovakia. Lives and works in Bratislava.
He graduated from Slovak Academy of Fine Arts and Design in 2001
and apart from his own creative activities he currently teaches
at the Department of Drawing at the Academy.
Instalacja działa w oparciu o relację kolorów wchodzących w skład flagi państwowej. Przy użyciu programu komputerowego
artysta stworzył jeden kolor flagi Słowacji i Republiki Czeskiej. Kolor czechosłowackiej, a obecnie czeskiej flagi, przeniesiono
na ścianę. Został on ozdobiony kwiatowym motywem o kolorze flagi słowackiej. Narzędzia, które posłużyły do malowania ściany,
pozostały na miejscu. Puszki na farbę wypełniono tekstami opisującymi dany kraj i jego flagę państwową.
Installation working with the ratio of colours in state flags. Using a computer program, a resulting colour of state flags of Slovakia
and Czech Republic was found by the artist. The colour of Czechoslovakia, now the Czech Republic as well, was used as a primer
on the wall. It was then embellished with a flower ornament in the colour of Slovakia. Tools used for painting on the wall were le
in situ. Cans used for paint were filled with dictionary texts defining the given countries and describing their state flags.
