POST-IDEOLOGICAL SOCIETY
SPOŁECZEŃSTWO POST-IDEOLOGICZNE
Europe’s ideological and political division is a thing of the past.
Our post-ideological society has absorbed the criteria and problems
prevalent in the “free world“ and disseminated them throughout
Europe. Europe’s defining characteristics — its self-reflectiveness,
plurality, tolerance and liberal democracies — have become
generalized.
But the Good intentions aimed at a more equitable division
of wealth, greater social inclusivity and cultural autonomy generally
remain unfulfilled, whilst global changes and information designed
to encourage consumer activity are readily available to millions
via television and the internet. The world today is a structure in selforganized
criticality state, which is characterized by the formation
of separate entities or the formation of fractals of different
dimensions. Not only compression of the world, dependency on each
other, even disintegration of the world in a variety of small copies
is a reality. Communication is the area in which the illusion of progress
is most obvious, taking the form of a closed circle of values based
on abysmal indifference.
Podział ideologiczny i polityczny Europy przeszedł już do historii.
Nasze postideologiczne społeczeństwo przyjęło kryteria i problemy
dominujące w „wolnym świecie” i rozpowszechniło je w całej Europie.
Cechy charakteryzujące Europę – autorefleksja, pluralizm, tolerancja
i demokracje liberalne – stały się powszechne.
Lecz dobre intencje dążące do równiejszego podziału bogactw, większej
