Born in Belgrade, Iva Radivojevic spent her early years in Yugoslavia
and Cyprus before settling in NYC to pursue her artistic goals.
Along with painting, photography and experimental film,
Iva’s passions lie in documentary filmmaking. Having contracted
with a permanent travel bug, she finds inspiration through her journeys.
Purple is a poem, perhaps a haiku.
It addresses the self, in an attempt to communicate with the inner being.
In nature’s grandeur we are frequently reminded of our place in the universe,
identities are stripped, identifications are forgotten, worries grow trivial,
all things fall in perspective.
