Przestrzeń dla Projektów i Wystaw w dzielnicy Kreuzberg, Berlin:
ConcentArt e.V.(stowarzyszenie artystyczne non-profit) zostało
założone z zamiarem promowania i realizacji konkretnych projektów.
Głównym celem stowarzyszenia jest umożliwienie ekonomicznej
i konkretnej realizacji projektów. Dodatkowo treści, które niosą ze sobą
te prace zostaną ujęte w zagadnienia, zachęcając do debaty i dyskusji
nad wartościami społecznymi i moralnymi oraz kwestiami
podejmowanymi przez osobne prace.
A Space for Projects and Exhibitions in Berlin Kreuzberg:
ConcentArt e.V.(a non-profit art association) was founded
with the aim of promoting and realizing specific projects.
The association’s primary objective is to enable the cost-effective
and concrete realization of projects. In addition, the thematic
content implicit in these projects will be thematized, encouraging
debate and discussion of the social and moral values and issues
addressed by individual works.
Zamiast statutu
To stowarzyszenie artystyczne nie postrzega siebie jako klarownie
określonej grupy artystów oddanych „kanonizacji swoich członków
i rytuałom założycielskim”.
Postrzegamy siebie natomiast jako zasadniczo otwartą grupą, podobną
w ujęciu etnologicznym grupie zwierząt, w ramach której ci artyści
którzy czują taki zew, mogą ulokować swoje twórcze siły pod sztandarem
danego tematu. Suma ich artystycznych pytań i odpowiedzi tworzy
podłoże wystawy.
Sztuka powinna być „pionem”, „sejsmicznym wzornikiem” jeśli chodzi
o różnorodne możliwości ekspresji właściwe różnym mediom, które
ma do swej dyspozycji. Jesteśmy zainteresowani nie tyle „celami”,
do których stowarzyszenie dąży, ale raczej metodologią dobranej
do każdego z projektów.
In lieu of statutes
This art association does not see itself as a clearly delineated
group of artists dedicated to the „canonization of its members
and constitutive rituals”.
We do see ourselves as a fundamentally open group, similar
in ethnological terms to a pack of animals, where those artists
who feel called upon to do so can place their creative forces under
the banner of a given topic. The sum of their artistic questions
and answers forms the bedrock of an exhibition.
Art should be a „plumbline“ – a „seismic discipline“ when it comes
to the diverse possibilities of expression inherent in the various media
at its disposal. We are interested not so much in the „objectives“
pursued by our association or individual exhibitions, but more
in the methodology selected for individual projects.
Freies Museum Berlin
Początek projektu Freies Museum Berlin miał miejsce w czasie, gdy świat
sztuki święcił trium, gorączkując się kolejnymi niezwykłymi wynikami
sprzedaży podczas targów sztuki czy aukcji i gdy jednocześnie narastały
wątpliwości, co do dalszego rozwoju sztuki. Naszym podstawowym celem
było wytłumaczenie wspólnocie artystycznej oraz publiczności, że sztuka
nie jest w żaden sposób związana z procesami rynkowymi. Zaczęliśmy
od stworzenia roboczej struktury modelu, w którym sztuka i produkcja
nie są kształtowane przez interesy komercyjne; modelu instytucji
artystycznej, która może funkcjonować w czystym sensie, jako instytucja,
która zachowuje i wspiera.
The beginning of the project of Freies Museum Berlin took place
in at a time in which the art world was celebrating triumphs and was
shaken by a fever of extraordinary sales results on fairs and auctions
but also first doubts arose on those developments in the arts.
Our main concern was to create an understanding in the artist
community and the public that art is in no way related to any market
process. We started to develop a working structure, a model that
can carry art and production without an interfering of private
commercial interests; a model for an art institution that can function
in pure sense as a preserving and supporting organization.
