wyimaginowanych osób komentujących i interpretujących
to dzieło. Ponieważ interpretacja jest w stanie stwierdzić coś
o dziele sztuki, to właściwie samo wideo przestało mi być
potrzebne.
The meaning of an artwork can be pushed in various
directions by using different interpretation keys. I had one
piece I didn’t know what to do with. The piece was a video
about making a very small intervention on the mountain
landscape. This intervention was small in visual, but huge
in physical efforts. At the time, it seemed as a good idea,
but later I realized I didn’t like the work and I never brought
it on light.
Couple of years later, I returned to this video in order to save
it somehow. I wrote and recorded a play for two imaginary
persons commenting on and interpreting this work.
Since the interpretation is capable to claim anything about
the artwork, I actually didn’t need the video any more.
So I le only the image of the mountain. Just to look at
something, while listening about something that isn’t there.
