Fajnor rozpoczął karierę artystyczną w roku 1992. Jednym z jego ostatnich projektów jest instalacja zatytułowana Ozdoba, stworzona jako specyficzna interwencja w przestrzeń wystawy. Istnieje wiele powodów, dla których należy tak robić, lecz najważniejszym jest potrzeba zrobienia czegoś, co nie będzie łatwo rozpoznawalne w konkretnej przestrzeni architektonicznej lub sytuacji społecznej. Przykładem mogą być fotografie 1a ornament dokumentujące realizację i 1b opornament, która ukazała drugą stronę przestrzeni wystawienniczej BRA3 w GJK Trnava, na Słowacji w 2008 roku. Innymi przykładami tej samej strategii są zdjęcia 2a ornament i 2b opornament z wystawy Erased Walls w berlińskim Freies Museum 2009. Besides the dominant medium of performance is Richard Fajnor active mostly in the area of video, video-installation, photography, object and installation. He entered the art scene in 1992. One of his last projects is installation presented under the title Ornament as a site specific intervention in the space of exhibition. There are more purposes to do it, but mabe the main could be to do something which will be not so easy recognizable in the concrete architecture or social situation. As examples there are photos: 1a ornament – documentation of realisation and 1b opornament – opposit side of the space of exhibition BRA3 in GJK Trnava, Slovakia, 2008. Alternative example of the same strategy are photos: 2a ornament and 2b opornament from space of Erased Walls exhibition in Freies Museum Berlin 2009. Those discreet realizations are based on the old time style of solutions of electric wire implementation in the interior. Richard Fajnor
