The applicant is proposing to use an existing bedroom, which will be fit-out to function as a treatment room. Not display a sign exceeding 0.5m 2 , to be incorporated into a front fence, wall, structure or building and sympathetic to the streetscape in design. The proposed sign is 0.25m 2 in area and will be located on the existing wall of the dwelling adjacent to the garage. DOES NOT COMPLY 4. Not involve the presence, use or calling of a vehicle more than 3.5 tonnes tare weight – The applicant will be working from home and will not involve the use or calling of a vehicle more than 3.5 tonnes tare weight. 5. Provide adequate on-site car parking and manoeuvring areas to the satisfaction of Council Manoeuvring for the existing parking areas on site is as per the existing arrangement and therefore acceptable. Two (2) bays total are provided on site within the existing tandem garage. As the residential use requires two (2) bays, it is acknowledged that no dedicated parking bays can be accommodated entirely on the subject site for the purpose of the proposed Home Business. However, the applicant has advised that only one residential vehicle will be parked on site during the Home Business’ operating hours, therefore the client vehicle can be accommodated within the garage. The garage door will be required to remain open during the business’ operating hours to ensure that sufficient parking is available on the subject site. The parking provided on site is therefore considered adequate in this instance. 241
