MINUTES OF THE ORDINARY MEETING OF COUNCIL 18 SEPTEMBER 2012 b. All boundary fencing behind the front setback line is to be in accordance with the provision of the City’s Local Laws pertaining to the provisions of a sufficient fence; c. All eaves to the proposed development maintaining a minimum setback of 750mm from the boundary; d. Storm water from all roofed and paved areas to be collected and contained on site; e. All privacy screening is to be visually impermeable and to comply in all respects with the requirements of clause 6.8.1 of the Residential Design Codes (Visual Privacy); and f. Gradients to driveways and ramps serving parking areas to comply with City’s Specification for Residential Vehicle Crossings. The motion was put and declared CARRIED (13/0). For: Councillors Boothman, Cooke, Ferrante, Italiano, Jenkinson, Lagan, Michael, Proud, Robbins, Sargent, Stewart, Tyzack and Willox. Against: Nil. Committee Recommendation That the item relating to Lot 300, House Number 20A, Hale Road, North Beach - One Grouped Dwelling (One Additional) be REFERRED to the Council meeting to be held 18 September 2012 to enable further consideration by Councillors. Officer's Recommendation That pursuant to Clause 10.3.1 of Local Planning Scheme No.3, the application for One Grouped Dwelling (One Additional) at Lot 300, House Number 20A, Hale Street, North Beach be APPROVED subject to the following conditions:- a. All driveways, parking and manoeuvring areas are to be constructed of brick paving, drained and maintained to the City’s satisfaction. Alternative finishes such as concrete or bitumen are acceptable if it has a decorative type finish to the satisfaction of the City; b.
