WHERE ARE WE<br />

Starting each day with "Where Are We"<br />

is our opportunity to review the previous<br />

days' material, especially the key points of<br />

each session.<br />

Each day one participant will be assigned<br />

to conduct the exercise. This person<br />

should take some time to write down the<br />

key points from the day be<strong>for</strong>e. The<br />

participant who is assigned should briefly<br />

present these key points and then ask<br />

participants <strong>for</strong> any additions.<br />

REFLECTIONS<br />

After a full day of activities, we need to<br />

take time to look over what we have done<br />

and examine what it means to us<br />

individually. The "Reflections" activity is<br />

an opportunity <strong>for</strong> the trainers and Px to<br />

share feedback on the training activities<br />

and to identify areas that need<br />

rein<strong>for</strong>cement or further discussion.<br />

There<strong>for</strong>e, each day, selected Px<br />

(housekeeping team) will solicit feedback<br />

from the other Px during breaks or lunch<br />

and then at the end of the day will meet<br />

with the trainers to discuss how the day of<br />

TRAINER PRESENTATION (10 MIN.)<br />

The trainer should:<br />

• Explain that "Where Are We"<br />

requires the active cooperation of the<br />

Px, so be certain to make their role<br />

clear.<br />

• Explain that the exercise "Where Are<br />

We" will be a regular feature at the<br />

beginning of each day during the<br />

training session.<br />

• This activity should be used to review<br />

previous days' material, especially the<br />

key points of each session.<br />

• Problems identified during the "Where<br />

Are We" session should be resolved<br />

be<strong>for</strong>e continuing with the day's work<br />

(whenever possible), since unresolved<br />

issues may hinder the learning<br />

process.<br />

We and Reflections.<br />
