For the first session of "Reflections," the<br />
housekeeping team should ask other Px<br />
the following questions and share<br />
responses with the trainers:<br />
• What did I like about today and why<br />
• What did I not like about today and<br />
why<br />
• What did I learn and experience today<br />
that I will be able to use<br />
The housekeeping team is free to vary the<br />
exercise to make it more interesting and<br />
less repetitive.<br />
Training/Learning Methods<br />
(Time Required)<br />
• Explain that the "Reflections" activity<br />
will be per<strong>for</strong>med at the end of the<br />
day's activities.<br />
• Be sure to close each day's activities<br />
with a session of "Reflections" on the<br />
day.<br />
• Make a note of the Px and trainers'<br />
feedback.<br />
• Attempt to address ideas and<br />
concerns during the discussion and<br />
during the following days' lesson<br />
plans.<br />
Housekeeping Teams<br />
• Organize the Px into groups.<br />
• Explain that each day these groups<br />
will be responsible <strong>for</strong> certain activities<br />
related to the training. The groups will<br />
be responsible <strong>for</strong> conducting both the<br />
"Reflections" and "Where Are We"<br />
exercises. They should also be<br />
responsible <strong>for</strong> getting Px to return on<br />
time after breaks and <strong>for</strong> conducting<br />
energizing exercises after breaks or<br />
lunch. Other responsibilities may be<br />
included, such as providing feedback<br />
to the trainers at the end of the day.<br />
PRE-TEST (30 MIN.)<br />
The trainer should:<br />
• Explain to Px that a test will be given<br />
be<strong>for</strong>e and after the training.<br />
• Explain that the purpose of the test is<br />
to evaluate the training. The test<br />
be<strong>for</strong>e training helps the trainer focus<br />
the training on the right topics. The<br />
test after training is a reflection on how<br />
<strong>Pathfinder</strong> <strong>International</strong><br />
