The trainer should: • Summarize the unit content. • Link content to the next session. • Measles: 9 months and 12 months All immunizations should be completed before the child reaches 1 year. Infant Feeding Breast milk is the perfect milk for a baby: • It has all of the nutrients the baby needs. • It is easy for the baby to digest. • It gives the baby important protection from infections. • It is always fresh, clean, and ready to drink. Breastfeeding also has advantages for the mother and her family: • It slows the mother's bleeding after birth. • It helps prevent the mother from getting pregnant again too soon. • It does not cost money. Baby formula or milk from other animals has several problems: • It can be less nutritious, especially if it is not made correctly or is watered down.
