during the <strong>Holocaust</strong> and after World War II. The collection has in<strong>for</strong>mation about<br />

Jewish emigration matters; the political and economic situation of Jewish war refugees;<br />

and International Red Cross, World Jewish Congress, American Jewish Joint Distribution<br />

Committee, and United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration activities<br />

regarding Jewish refugees from Spain and other countries. Some documents relate <strong>to</strong> the<br />

killings, the Babi Yar massacre, killings in Rovno (Rowne) and Odessa, Soviet prisoners<br />

of war, the Majdanek concentration camp, the German invasion of Es<strong>to</strong>nia, and the<br />

deportation and killing of citizens of L‘viv (Lvov).<br />
