gathered as background in<strong>for</strong>mation and evidence. The bulk of the material relates <strong>to</strong> the<br />

activities of Richard Walter Darré as Reichsbauernführer and Reichsnährungsminister<br />

(June 1933–May 1942), who was charged with crimes against humanity.<br />

Provenance: Henry L. Cohen collected the materials while working as an interroga<strong>to</strong>r at<br />

the Office of the U.S. Chief of Counsel <strong>for</strong> War Crimes, 1946–1947.<br />
