NOTE: The Demjanjuk trial transcripts, February 16, 1987, through April 25, 1988, are<br />

incomplete. Researchers should consult the finding aid <strong>for</strong> details on dates and page<br />

numbers of the transcripts.<br />

RG-06.019 Henry L. Cohen Collection Relating <strong>to</strong> American Military Government Case<br />

No. 11 (The Ministries Case), 1933–1948<br />

This collection contains transcripts of interrogations of defendants and witnesses, the<br />

general administrative files from the case, and <strong>English</strong> translations of German documents<br />

gathered as background in<strong>for</strong>mation and evidence. The bulk of the material relates <strong>to</strong> the<br />

activities of Richard Walter Darré as Reichsbauernführer and Reichsnährungsminister<br />

(June 1933–May 1942), who was charged with crimes against humanity.<br />

Provenance: Henry L. Cohen, the donor, collected the materials while working as an<br />

interroga<strong>to</strong>r at the Office of the U.S. Chief of Counsel <strong>for</strong> War Crimes, 1946–1947.<br />
