This collection contains correspondence, pho<strong>to</strong>graphs, newspaper clippings, memoranda,<br />

articles, and various other documents relating <strong>to</strong> the involvement of Emanuel E. ―Duke‖<br />

Minskoff and Dorothea G. Minskoff in the International Military Tribunal proceedings in<br />

Nuremberg, Germany. Also included is in<strong>for</strong>mation about Emanuel E. Minskoff‘s work<br />

<strong>for</strong> the United States Department of the Treasury‘s International Bank <strong>for</strong> Reconstruction<br />

and Development and <strong>for</strong> the International Monetary Fund projects ca. 1946.<br />

Provenance: Elizabeth M. Dal<strong>to</strong>n, personal friend and guardian of Dorothea Minskoff‘s<br />

estate, obtained the collection at the time of Dorothea Minskoff‘s death in 1986.<br />

Biographical/his<strong>to</strong>rical note: Emanuel E. Minskoff (b. 1909, New York City, d. 1965,<br />

New York City) and Dorothea Grater Minskoff (1910–1986) served with the American<br />

prosecution team at the International Military Tribunal proceedings in Nuremberg,<br />

Germany.<br />

and statistical reports, some of which originated in the URO Berlin office; and a<br />

Baltimore Emergency Committee file entitled ―Witnesses—War Criminals.‖<br />
