This collection contains correspondence, photographs, newspaper clippings, memoranda,
articles, and various other documents relating to the involvement of Emanuel E. ―Duke‖
Minskoff and Dorothea G. Minskoff in the International Military Tribunal proceedings in
Nuremberg, Germany. Also included is information about Emanuel E. Minskoff‘s work
for the United States Department of the Treasury‘s International Bank for Reconstruction
and Development and for the International Monetary Fund projects ca. 1946.
Provenance: Elizabeth M. Dalton, personal friend and guardian of Dorothea Minskoff‘s
estate, obtained the collection at the time of Dorothea Minskoff‘s death in 1986.
Biographical/historical note: Emanuel E. Minskoff (b. 1909, New York City, d. 1965,
New York City) and Dorothea Grater Minskoff (1910–1986) served with the American
prosecution team at the International Military Tribunal proceedings in Nuremberg,
Germany.
